White chocolate cocoa cookies recipe a chocolatey fudgey cookie that tastes delicious.This cookie is more like a double chocolate cookie but we use white chocolate here.This is easy to make just grab your ingredients, throw in mix and bake kind of cookie.

These cookies are rich,fudgy and soft with brownie like center.

Sticky dough:

The dough will be sticky even if you have chilled it but  it will help to control the spreading of cookies.And did I tell you I love spread out cookies so didn’t chill my dough 🙂

Variations:

  • You can either use white chocolate shavings or white chocolate chips.
  • You can use dark chocolate chips too for making it double chocolate cookie.
  • You can use this recipe as base for making any chocolate cookie.

Freezing the cookie dough:

You can make the cookie dough in advance and freeze the dough for upto 3 days.Cling wrap and freeze, Bring it to room temperature then bake the cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup maida
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 no egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chopped

Instructions

  • Take butter, add both the sugar to it.
  • Whisk well until creamy.Add an egg mix well.
  • Add salt, baking soda to it, mix it.Add cocoa powder and maida.
  • Mix well, I switched over to a spatula for convenience.Add vanilla extract to it and mix well.
  • Add white chocolate to it.Fold it gently, do not over mix.The dough will be sticky.Using a small icecream scooper scoop out the dough.
  • Line parchment paper over a cookie tray, scoop out the dough on it.The cookies will spread out so leave space accordingly.Place the cookie in bottom rack of the oven and Bake in preheated oven at 180 deg C for 10-12 mins.
  • Cool down completely then store.

Notes

  • I love my cookies to spread so kept in bottom rack so it spread beautifully.But if you don't want your cookies to spread much then the dough in fridge for an hour and then bake in middle rack.But anyways these cookies will spread slightly atleast.
  • I used cooking white chocolate, chopped them roughly and used.You can use white chocolate chips too.
  • Do not overbake the cookies, the cookies will look soft when taken out but will turn crisp after cooling down.
