Fish kuzhambu recipe which is spicy and taste amazing. This fish curry is delicious with some hot rice.

Ingredients
  • Coconut Oil - ¼ cup
  • Fenugreek Seeds / Vendayam - 1 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves a handful
  • Small onion / Shallots - 20
  • Garlic - 10
  • Tamarind - 1 small lemon size
  • Cumin powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 2 tblsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Raw Mango - 1 cubed
  • Tomato - 1 chopped
FOR GRINDING:
  • Onion - 1 large chopped
  • Tomato - 3 chopped
  • Dry Red Chillies - 15
  • Curry leaves - a handful
  • Black Pepper - 2 tsp
Instructions
  1. Take grinding in a blender and grind till smooth.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add in fenugreek seeds and fennel seeds and let them sizzle.
  3. Add in shallots, garlic and mix well.
  4. Add in curry leaves and mix well.
  5. Add in ground masala and cook till oil separates.
  6. Add in salt, spice powder and mix well.
  7. Cook till oil separates. Add in tamarind pulp and mix well. Add water.
  8. Add in raw mango and fish pieces. Cook for 5 to 10 mins.
  9. Add in Tomatoes and curry leaves and mix well.
  10. Serve.

21)Add mango pieces

22)Add fish

23)Cook on medium heat for 10 mins

24)Add tomatoes

26)Mix well

27)Add in curry leaves

28)Serve
