Vegetable Biryani, Onion Raita – Kids Lunch Box Ideas 24
This is what I packed for maha’s lunch box. This is a simple biryani recipe which i made for her. This lunch box is packed with full of vitamins, carb and calcium. Veg biryani has all the veggies which she love like carrots, beans, peas. Along with the side of onion raita which is rich in calcium. This lunch box makes a great option.
Since this biryani is made for kids. I made in simple way. Here is how i did it.
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add chopped onions, carrots, beans and peas and saute for 2 mins. Add biryani masala powder and mix well. Add in soaked and drained basmati rice along with salt. I used around 1/2 cup of rice, so added around 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of milk. Pressure cook for 1 whistle. Remove and fluff up the rice. Serve.
Storebought Jackfruit chips on her snacks box.
