We(Me and PJ) had a invite from Hash Six Hotels a luxury business class hotel. The hotel has 85 rooms to offer across premium rooms and suite. It is complimented by facilities such as swimming pool, spa & gymnasium, 24 hours rooms service, four spacious banquet halls catering from 40 to 400 guests and a parking space for 100+ cars.
“Planet Barbeque” the multi cuisine restaurant has a wide choice for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The barbeque experience on your table will leave you enthralled. Luxuriously spread over 5000 square feet, the restaurant boasts of 100 plus seating capacity and is a favorite destination of the young and families alike.
I had already been to this hotel few months back and had tasted their buffet menu so was excited when I was called for a tasting session and review.
The barbeque starters(both veg and nonveg) are too good and the buffet menu is curated in a such a way that both veg and non-vegetarians can enjoy equally.Thank you Hash Six Hotels for inviting and hosting us!
First we were served with a welcome drink – Saffron Lychee Orange Lime Juice Mocktail, I fell for this drink as it had subtle flavors of everything, nothing was overpowering which I liked the best.
Grilled Chicken , grilled fish and grilled prawn were the non-veg starters. Grilled baby Corn, mushrooms, grilled paneer, pineapple were the veg starters with 3 side sauces.
This is Fresh cucumber, carrot, capsicum with Feta cheese Salad with Avocado Salsa and Orange pieces.
Kuchi Kozhi Pirattal
Finger Roll and Arrow Chicken
This Arrow chicken is so crispy that you could hear the crunch in very bite.Do try this when you dine here.
Some of the buffet menu items that we tasted.
Apart from the wide spread of buffet menu, they also serve flatbreads on order as they make it fresh and hot.We had veg and nonveg kheema paratta and layered paratta with dal makhani and chicken tikka masala. The chatpata makaai was just like crispy corn, kids will love it.
Murg Chicken Tikki and Sheek Kebab – I had a taste of the kebab and it was so good but had to limit with just one as I had other items to taste I resisted myself.
The dinner rolls and focassia bread were very soft and is freshly made for daily buffet menu.
This is another cute variation, one of my favorites too – Coin parottas with mutton chukka you can just pop one into your mouth at once.I love this idea of coin sized parottas, very tasty too.And by the side is grilled chicken iceberg salad.
Few salads on the buffet menu.
BBQ Chicken tikka and Samudri prawn tikka with sea salt.I opted to taste the tikka and it was just perfect juicy tender and tasty.
The dessert spread is quite a big one. Each day there is a special variety of sweet being made live and we had sweet samosas on that day we dined. It had 2 fillings one is seviyan and other is khoya. Not only desserts you have a variety of sweets too.
Cream Caramel
Chocolates and Desserts
Blueberry pannacotta
Mango Mousse
Strawberry fresh cream tarts
“FUNC” restobar is artistically designed with a seating capacity of 75+ guests and has become the hot favorite of the town. Our deftly crafted choice of cocktail use a meaningful blend of local varieties such as ‘Nongu’, Tender coconut water , ‘ Thandai’ etc. Complimenting these cocktails are a few lip smacking snacks such as ‘Beer Batter Chicken’, ‘Arabian Kheema samosas’, ‘Caribbean smoked vegetables’ etc. DJ Brett & DJ Venessa rock the night with their groovy hits and peppy numbers.
You can take the side entrance from the main view or enter through the hotel premises main entrance itself.
Buffet Menu List with Cost
Overall our experience was great. The ambiance is great and quite place for dining with family. For me the first thing I take into account is the spice level when dining in any restaurant as I cannot enjoy food if its too spicy. The spice level was apt not too spicy not too bland. The buffet menu is a nice spread so make sure you are super hungry when you dine there at least to taste all the items
Special thanks to Mr.Uday who hosted us and thanks to the team of chefs and staffs for serving us such tasty food and making our lunch special.
