Millet Milk Pongal is a healthier version of regular paal pongal. It has millets in place of raw rice and is very healthy.

Ingredients
  • Ghee - 1 tsp + 2 tblsp
  • Yellow Moong Dal / Pasi Paruppu - 2 tblsp
  • Millet /Kuthiraivalli - ½ cup
  • Milk - 1.5 cups
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tsp ghee and add in moong dal and roast for a min.
  2. Add in millet and mix well.
  3. Add in milk and water and bring it to a boil.
  4. Cover and cook till millet is cooked.
  5. Add in salt and ghee and mix well.
  6. Serve.

Pictorial:
