Bajji Bonda Mix :
This is a quick recipe : To begin with first take a mixing bowl add besan flour(kadalaimaavu), rice flour along with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing, salt, fennel seeds powder and cooking soda. Mix it well. You can even sieve everything together if you are making in bulk say more than 1 cup or so. I just made a small batch so mixing was enough. But if you prefer you can sieve and store too. Thats it homemade bajji bonda mix ready.
Variations:
- You can skip fennel seeds powder and use garam masala powder instead. But I strongly recommend using fennel seeds powder.
- Cooking soda can be added while making bajji or bonda too. But I prefer to add in mix itself.
- Salt can be adjusted according to your taste while making bajji/bonda so add less.
