I was looking for easy deserts to post for Valentines day and I had white chocolate in hand so wanted to give this white chocolate mousse a try. It turned out to be a delicious treat for all at home.
Two Ingredient White Chocolate Mousse :
This white chocolate mousse recipe uses just 2 ingredients : heavy whipping cream and good quality white chocolate. And I can easily claim this is one of the best white chocolate mousse I’ve tasted so far light, airy with a whipped texture exactly the way I wanted.
To begin with first whip half of heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks in a mixing bowl, Set aside. Then after that using double boiling method melt white chocolate along with cream. Melt it completely, cool down then add to whipped cream mix well and white chocolate mousse ready.
Variations:
- You can either use white compound chocolate or white chocolate chips but make sure they are of of good quality.
- I used a ratio of 1:1 that is equal proportions of cream and white chocolate. But you even use 2(white chocolate) : 1 (cream) ratio.
- Add 1/4 cup cream cheese to this recipe to get a richer version. In that case add 2 tbsp sugar to it to balance.
- You can add 1/2 tsp vanilla essence if you like the flavour.
Storage:
You can store white chocolate mousse in fridge for upto 3-5 days. However I recommend consuming it within 2 days.
Serving Suggestion:
- I used piping nozzle for a more decorative look. But otherwise you can even scoop out to a serving glass and serve it.
- You can serve it as such or with white chocolate shavings, rasperry or just sprinklers like I did. Chill it before serving.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white chocolate
- 1/4 + 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- sprinkles as needed
Instructions

To begin with first add frozen whipping cream to a mixing bowl.

Whip it using a electric beater until stiff peaks form. This is the main step in making white chocolate mousse.

The peaks should form like this.

This is stiff peaks. Turn over the bowl to check the cream will stand still.

Mix well, Set aside. We are in half way to make white chocolate mousse recipe.

Next to another mixing bowl : add white chocolate chopped along with remaining frozen whipping cream. Make sure the chocolate is chopped small so that its easy to melt.

Boil water to a sauce pan. Let it boil.

Once it starts to boil, place a bowl over it. This is called double boiling method. But make sure the bowl should be dry and the base of the bowl should not touch the water in the pan. Leave it undisturbed for 2 mins.

Whisk well to melt it.

Whisk until it melts completely. Next switch off and let it cool for 10 mins.

Now add this to whipped cream.

Using a spatula mix it well.

Mix well until well combined.

Place a star nozzle in a piping bag.

Place it inside a tall glass.

Fill it up with prepared mousse. You can skip this step if you want to serve as such. Just spoon out in a serving glass and serve.

Piping bag ready!

Pipe it in a serving glass, chill it for few mins before serving! White chocolate mousse is ready.
Notes
- Use good quality white chocolate for mousse. I used morde compound chocolate.
- Chill it for atleast an hour before serving.
- You can use 2 cups white chocolate with 1 cup whipped cream. The texture will be a bit thick in this but either ways it tastes delicious.
- Easy way to melt white chocolate is to leave it undisturbed for few mins in the double boiling method. Then whisking helps to melt it easily.
