Bread kachori, quick method to make and enjoy tea time snack with just few simple steps. Quick video and Bread Kachori step by step photos.

Actually, I wanted to make pyaz kachori, some how saved it for a proper one. Because this is a quick snack just like my bread bonda with aloo. Obviously Aj loved it since it is a deep fried snack. I thought he would fuss about peas stuffing. He happily ate it. I just tasted it and it was indeed delicious. Made it couple of days ago and took my own time to post it today.

You can play with your own favorite kachori stuffing. Just for an idea, I made it with fresh peas. Be it onion or dal, try whichever is your favorite. And do not think bread will absorb lot of oil. Ofcourse like any other deep fried items. We are getting rid of the air pockets that retains oil, by dipping in water and squeezing well. This step reduces absorption of oil, than when we fry as such for adding to biryani/ pulaos.

Is video more your thing?

Here’s a quick video on how to make bread kachori.

Just make sure to use fresh bread. You can also try this in air fryer (I don’t have any idea how as I don’t have one). If you are note comfortable dipping in water and squeezing, you can also roll out to thin bread slice and then make. The choice is yours, but I feel this method drinks lesser oil and no need to seal the edges with maida slurry or anything.
