We have changed from white sugar to cane sugar since 2 yrs for tea, coffee and milk.It was a bit challenging change for mittu but slowly she adapted and now don’t complain.When I started milk for gugu itself it was cane sugar milk and so he never knew about white sugar at all but it was quite a task for mittu to change suddenly and am happy that she adapted to it now.
I very rarely opt for plain milk but this cane sugar milk is my favorite a mild cardamom flavored drink with the sweetness of cane sugar…its so good.Do try and let me know how you liked it!
Cane sugar milk recipe
Cane sugar milk recipe a mild flavored milk with canesugar and cardamom
- 1 and 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tsp cane sugar
- 1 nos cardamom
- 1/8 tsp dry ginger powder
- 1/8 tsp pepper powder
- To a sauce pan – add milk to it.Let it come to a rolling boil, simmer for 2 mins.
- Crush cardamom and add it along with dry ginger and pepper powder.
- Simmer for another 2 mins.Switch off finally add cane sugar immediately.Mix well.
- Strain and serve.
- Serve hot!
How to make cane sugar milk:
