About Apple Milkshake
Apple Milkshake is one of the popular and easy to make milkshake recipes that anyone can try at home. You can enhance the taste of theis milkshake by adding in more flavours. Feel free to experiment with additional flavors to top it such as cinnamon, cardamom, honey, etc.
Apple Milkshake is one of the regular shakes I make at home especially for mittu as she loves it. This is one of the healthy beverages you can try for breakfast or midmorning snack time. Apples are naturally creamy so blending it with milk and sugar makes it more creamy and tasty too. Addition of icecream is optional but vanilla flavour is a great match with apples. So do try and enjoy this delightful and refreshing beverage!
Variations & Topping Ideas
- Soak 4 almonds and grind it along with other ingredients.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon powder.
- Use almond milk replacing regular milk for a vegan option.
- You can also toast 2 tbsp millets or oats for 3 mins then add it to grind for a filling breakfast.
- Top it up with nuts if you like.
- You can add a scoop of vanilla icecream with a syrup drizzle of your choice. Caramel syrup and chocolate syrup suits best.
- You can even garnish with chopped apples.
Apple Milk Ingredients
- Apples – You can use any apple of your choice but make sure to check if its not wax coated. But it is always good to peel the skin of apples to be on the safer side.
- Milk – I have used cow’s milk boiled, cooled and then chilled. Alternatively you can use almond milk too.
- Sugar – Use any type of sugar like white sugar or brown sugar or cane sugar etc.
- Icecream – Though icecream is optional I would suggest adding a small scoop of vanilla icecream for taste and flavour.
